General Manager's January Journal

After having one of the wettest winters that I personally can remember, I stepped out of the Club house yesterday and found the weather absolutely perfect.  For the first time in 2010 we had a great day for golf and it showed.  It seemed that a lot of the members thought the same thing as several rounds of golf were played on this holiday Monday.
Now that 2010 is upon us, WOW 2010.  We have a few things already planned for the year.  We are going to start having a brunch the last Sunday of every month (starting in February) during the Sunday Buffet at the Hills Club house.  We will still have the normal Sunday Buffet, accept it will be accompanied by a true Brunch.  We will be adding Southern Louisiana favorites like Grits, Grillades and Eggs Benedict.  We will also be serving traditional breakfast items to go along with all of the normal Sunday items.  On these dates, the Brunch will start at 10:00a.m. instead of 11:00a.m.
Also, starting in February, we are going to have Family night every Friday at the Calvert Course (if there is a tournament, it will be at the Hills Course).  You can bring the family and dine in or pick up.  Please RSVP by 2:00 Thursday, the day before.  Family night will run while school is in, then for the summer we will run a Steak night every Friday night.  Please keep up with your monthly calendars to check dates and places.  If you have any questions, please give me a call.
