Deutsche Bank Championship winner Charley Hoffman is one of those interesting case studies from whom we all could take a lesson in how to personalize our on-course look, though Hoffman tends to go to greater lengths than most.

The top 70 in FedExCup points continue their chase after the $10 million first prize this week. Those that advance to THE TOUR Championship also get exemptions into the first three majors of 2011 if they're not already eligible.

There are going to be quite a few new faces in the field when the PGA TOUR completes its Playoffs next week at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Other first-timers who have already secured their place include Charley Hoffman, Jason Day and Martin Laird.

The list of great golfers who grew up and still reside in Aiken, S.C., a city with around 30,000 people, isn't very long. And Kevin Kisner could be headed to the top after his win in Sunday's Mylan Classic on the Nationwide Tour.

Chicago is Capone and the Cubs, the Monsters of the Midway and the Sears Tower. It is the Windy City, the City of the Big Shoulders, Chi-town, Second City. (Perhaps it really should be the city of nicknames.)
